has expanded their hours of operation and relocated the market to its
original home in the core of the village beside The Heart of Apsley.

Lions Club's Annual Community Parades
Canada Day Parade: Wednesday, July 1, 2010
Christmas Parade: (date TBA for 2010)
Each year the Apsley Lions Club sponsors the Canada Day and Christmas
parades. Always a well attended event make sure to come out and take part
in the celebrations! The parades run from the Apsley Public School to
the Community Centre along Burleigh Street, turning left onto Wellington
Street at the L.C.B.O.

Autumn Studio Tour

18 & 19, 2010;
10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Apsley Autumn Studio Tour is renowned for the quality of the artists
working in a variety of disciplines. Located in the North Kawarthas, many
of the studios are tucked away in beautiful, scenic locations where our
local artists and guests present new and exciting works created specifically
for this annual event.
Immerse yourself in a weekend of interesting and engaging art set against
a backdrop of beautiful fall colour. Come for a day or for the weekend;
stay in a local bed & breakfast and enjoy a leisurely tour of our
countryside and a warm welcome at our studios.

Lions Winter Carnival
Currently planning for Winter 2011
Saturday:
Dog sled races, horse drawn sleigh rides, dog sled rides, ski-joring,
live outdoor music, children's games, local vendors with displays, local
artisan's selling art works, food on-site, public skating, trappers carnival
plus mush, mush more. Roast beef dinner hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 381 Saturday afteroon.
Sunday: Pancake breakfast followed by a figure skating
carnival.
